On February 16th, more than 130 members and supporters of the environmental community joined legislators at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot for the annual environmental legislative breakfast.
The breakfast included presentations by Commissioner Chris Clark of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources on the economic benefits of protecting our natural resources and building a culture of conservation. April Ingle of the Georgia River Network, Lee Biola of Citizens for Progressive Transit, and Joe Cook of Coosa River Basin Initiative spoke on the conservation community's shared legislative priorities.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the breakfast a success, including environmental organizations, businesses, and individuals who sponsored the event. Also thank you to all our supporters who attended the event.
