Georgia Conservation Voters
proudly announces its recent partnership with CollectiveGood, one of
Georgia's own sustainable businesses. CollectiveGood creates financially
productive partnerships with charities - such as GCV - and companies
to ensure that the benefits of mobile phones are maximized, and their
environmental impact is minimized.
By recycling and reusing discarded mobile phones, CollectiveGood offers
consumers a socially and environmentally responsible means of disposing
of their old mobile phones. For each phone, PDA, or charger that you
submit GCV can receive reimbursement, thereby generating newfound funds
to further our mission. It is noteworthy that the mobile phones, once
refurbished, are usually used to provide affordable wireless service
throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, Eastern Europe and India.
If you or people you know have old mobile phones, chargers, or PDAs
(Palm Pilot, Blackberry, etc.), please consider recycling them.
You can go to the CollectiveGood website, www.collectivegood.com,
where you can print out a shipping label, enabling you to ship your
old electronics to CollectiveGood AT NO COST TO YOU.
Just make a note in or on the box that the proceeds generated from your
donation are intended for Georgia Conservation Voters.
Or, feel free to drop off your recyclable phones or mail them to our
office, at:
175 Trinity Ave SW
Atlanta, GA 30303.
Your donation will help protect
the environment, provide telecommunications internationally, and contribute
to Georgia Conservation Voters.
If you have any questions, please call our office at 404-522-8144.
Thank you for your donations!
