Program Director
Jill Johnson works as the Program Director for Georgia Conservation Voters, the political voice of the environmental community. She advocates in the legislature for strong environmental protections, helps elect conservation-minded leaders and holds elected officials accountable for how well they work to protect the state's natural resources. She previously worked for the Georgia Conservancy and Georgia Public Interest Research Group. Jill is a member of the L.E.A.D. Atlanta Class of 2008. She is the former co-president of the League of Women Voters of Georgia and board member of the Georgia Environmental Council. Jill graduated from Tulane University with a B.S. in Biology. |

Assistant Director
Jessica Lane Day joined us in December 2006 as Assistant Director. Jessica earned her undergraduate degree in Anthropology, with Honors, from William & Mary in 2001 and her law degree from Emory University School of Law in 2006.
She began working with GCV and GCVEF in 2004 under a Emory Public Interest Committee Grant. Jessica has clerked with the Southern Environmental Law Center, the Georgia Center for Law in the Public Interest and the Turner Environmental Law Clinic over the last three years.
